Village of Streamwood President and Board of Trustees met July 21.

CALL TO ORDER

President Roth called the Public Hearing to order at 6:48 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Trustee William Harper Present

Trustee Mary Thon Present

Trustee Larry Schmidt Present

Trustee Rezwanul Haque Present

Trustee Michael Baumer Present

Trustee James Cecille Present

President Billie D. Roth Present

All those answering “present” were physically present at the meeting.

The purpose of this public hearing is to consider the petition for annexation of 6.19 acres of certain real property commonly known as 30W320 and 30W360 Irving Park Road in unincorporated Cook County, Illinois. The petitioner is SW Land Holdings LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, as the contract purchasers. The petitioner is proposing to develop the property as an assisted living residential facility.

The hearing may be adjourned to another date without further notice other than a motion to be entered upon the minutes of this meeting fixing the time and place of its adjournment.

All interested parties are invited to sign in for the purpose of providing testimony. Notice of this Public Hearing was published in the Daily Herald on July 4, 2022.

No written testimony has been received. No one present has signed in to speak at this Public Hearing.

Community Development Director Jeff Harris provided a brief overview of the project and stated it is scheduled before the Planning and Zoning Board on August 16, 2022. Attorney Steve Patterson, representing the petitioner was present along with Hubert Loftus, Jr., Engineering Manager, Manhard Consulting. Mr. Patterson stated they are planning a 90- unit senior assisting living facility for this site.

Trustee Cecille moved to forward this petition for annexation to the Planning and Zoning Board for review and recommendation. Trustee Harper seconded the motion. A voice vote approved the motion.

Trustee Baumer moved to adjourn the Public Hearing. Trustee Schmidt seconded the motion. A voice vote approved the adjournment. The Village Board adjourned the Public Hearing at 6:53 p.m.
