ART APPRECIATION EVENT - APRIL 9
On Saturday, April 9, our Community Relations Commission will host its Art Appreciation Around the World event from 1:00-4:00 pm at Poplar Creek Library. This free family event will feature two- and three-dimensional artwork that celebrates the cultural heritages in our community.
CITIZENS FIRE ACADEMY - APRIL 18
Want to know what it takes to be a firefighter? Get an inside look with our annual Citizens Fire Academy!
Residents over 18 years can participate in this 10-week course. Starting April 18, sessions are taught on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm at Fire Station #31 (1204 S Park). Registration is required. Registration deadline is April 11. Click here to register!
APRIL BEAT MEETINGS
The Streamwood Police Department organizes the Village into four Beat areas for better response and citizen engagement. The department hosts regular Beat meetings to listen to the community on issues that effect them. Beat meetings are held in the Police Training Room (401 E Irving Park Road) at 7:00 pm. Beats 1 & 4 will meet on April 21; Beats 2 & 3 will meet on April 13. For more information or details, please click here.
