Creel (Mt. Vernon) received All-Conference honors from the Great Rivers Athletic Conference, as well as All-Region honors from NJCAA Region XXIV.
Rend Lake (14-14, 6-7 in GRAC) ended the season over the weekend, falling short of advancing to the NJCAA District semifinal game after a 61-60 loss to Parkland Saturday.
Creel finished the season with 12.8 points per game, 4.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He led the team in field goal percentage with 40.2 percent and shot 35.8 percent from behind the arch.
