The Judson University Baseball Team concluded their first week in Florida with an 11-1 loss to Keiser.
Judson scored their lone run in the sixth inning when JJ Brennan scored on a wild pitch after reaching base with a double. Timothy Ellinger had a two-hit game with a single to left in the fourth and a single to right field in the sixth. Ryan Stejskal had a hit in the second consecutive contest with a double to right field.
Brandon Callender got the start for Judson and allowed three earned runs (four total) in five innings while allowing eight hits and a walk. He had eight strikeouts in his effort. Jake Berger had a scoreless relief outing.
Judson (1-7) returns to action with a doubleheader against Morningside on Monday.
