Kevin Wallace for State Representative has issued the following press release:

BARTLETT, IL – Today, Kevin Wallace launched his campaign for state representative in the 49th District, encompassing portions of Cook, DuPage, and Kane counties.

“I am running for state representative in the 49th district to bring my strong financial background and positive, pro-growth record as mayor to Springfield,” stated Wallace. “Our state faces challenging times with our economy lagging behind neighboring states, education standards falling, and crime rates skyrocketing. To end the status quo, we need new representation to put Illinois on a responsible pathway toward a better tomorrow.”

Kevin Wallace is a proud father, an active community member, and an effective business leader. He has an extensive background directing departments for large financial organizations, running two successful mid-size entrepreneurial businesses, and serving as a financial advisor helping individuals and businesses reach their financial goals.

Kevin has been active in many local organizations throughout the years, including the Bartlett Rotary Club and the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce, where he served as treasurer and chairman of the board for two terms. He was first elected Village of Bartlett President in April 2013 and was re-elected to his third term in April 2021.

As Bartlett’s mayor, he has overseen projects of generational impact like the switch to a Lake Michigan water supply and the building of a new, state-of-the-art police facility. His efforts to modernize the use of technology, increase efficiency and transparency of municipal services, and invigorate the development process have been hallmarks of his tenure in office.

Kevin resides in Bartlett with his wife of thirty years, Deborah. They have three adult children, Madeline, Brenner, and Jack.
