Report: Park Ridge-Niles School District spent $16,324 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Park Ridge-Niles Community Consolidated School District 64 was up 4.6 percent from five years ago, according to the North Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $15,613 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $16,324 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 4,537 to 4,745 students over the same period.

Park Ridge-Niles's spending in 2019-20 was 12.6 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
