Report: Township High School District 211 School District spent $20,027 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Township High School District 211 was up 13.7 percent from five years ago, according to the North Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $17,615 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,027 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 12,019 to 11,813 students over the same period.

Township High School District 211's spending in 2019-20 was 38.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
