Flynn Scores 24 o guide Eagles to 92-83 Victory over St. Francis

Judson University Athletic Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 22

The Judson University Men's Basketball Team returned to being over .500 in conference play with a convincing 92-83 road victory over St. Francis. 

Three Eagles finished in double-digits as Johnny Flynn led the way with 24 points, four assists, three rebounds, and a steal. His total included nine made field goals, four three-pointers made, and going 2-2 from the line. Damon Price added 13 points for Judson on 5-10 from the field (including 3-4 from behind the arc), had two rebounds, and an assist. Thomas Donati had another double-double with 12 points and 12 boards with five assists and two steals. Donati was 6-9 from the field with no free throw attempts. Lorenzo Anderson provided a spark of offense off the bench with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Anderson made 6-10 field goals and was perfect from the line with four free throws made. Dalen Horace scored seven points and had five rebounds with three assists. Jordan Johnson had six points, four assists, and three rebounds. Jack Keller (six points, 1-1 three-point shot), Trayce Boley (four points, six rebounds), and Alex Priftis (two points, 1 rebound, 1 assist) rounded out Judson's scoring. 

"I'm very proud of the poise that our team played with tonight," said Head Coach Bruce Fields. "We didn't settle for tough shots but found the open man resulting in 22 assists. Winning the rebound battle (41-20) was big for us! Defensively, we were locked in and limited them to one shot per possession." 

Judson (10-11, 7-6 CCAC) returns to action on Monday against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m.
