Of the 64 teams advancing to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) quarterfinals next weekend, four are from the northern Cook County suburbs.
In 8A, which includes schools with the largest enrollments in the state, Naperville's Neuqua Valley (10-1) travels to Park Ridge to play Maine South (10-1), Loyola Academy (11-0) hosts Frankfort Lincoln-Way East in Wilmette, and Chicago Marist (8-3) visits Glenview to play Glenbrook South (9-2).
In 7A, Jacobs H.S. (8-3) of Algonquin in McHenry County travels to Mt. Prospect to play Prospect (9-2).
