Glenview Community Consolidated School District 34 issued the following announcement on Apr 23.
The Board of Education, Glenview Community Consolidated School District #34, is inviting bids for the following:
ABATEMENT OF ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS AT:
1. Springman Middle School (Exterior Plaster and Transite Abatement) – 2701 Central Road, Glenview, Illinois 60025.
2. Westbrook Elementary School (Exterior Plaster Abatement) – 1333 Greenwood Road, Glenview, Illinois 60025.
The Board reserves the right to waive any formality or to accept any informality and to reject any or all bids.
Specifications and bid forms will be provided by Hygieneering, Inc. for those who call 630/654-2550 ext. 1390 to confirm attendance at the mandatory pre-bid walkthrough that is scheduled for April 28, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Springman Middle School located at 2701 Central Road, Glenview, Illinois 60025 and then proceeding to Westbrook Elementary School. A non-refundable $100.00 fee for each set of specifications will be required.
Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., May 6, 2021 at the office of Mr. Steve Ruelli, Director of Operations, Glenview Community Consolidated School District #34, 1401 Greenwood Road, Glenview, Illinois 60025 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.
