Dan Barrett got support from a local fire board as he seeks another term as trustee on the Northfield Township Board.
He was endorsed by the Glenview Professional Firefighters Association for the upcoming election which is less than a month from now. Barrett is running under the Northfield Township Leadership Slate.
“Trustee Dan Barrett, running with our Northfield Township Leadership Slate, has been endorsed by the Glenview Professional Firefighters Association IAFF Local 4186. Dan is a thoughtful leader who continues to selflessly serve our community. Vote for Proven Leadership from Dan Barrett April 6,” the Northfield Township Republican Organization announced on Facebook.
Barrett began serving as a trustee on the Glenbrook Fire Protection District and has been making an impact on the community. He has served on the fire board ever since, assuming the position of president in 2005, according to northfieldgop.com.
Barrett’s track record as Northfield Township Board trustee began in 2019 and he has held the position since then.
He and his wife Lindsay have lived in Glenview for almost three decades, raising their three sons. Both have been active in various groups including Glenview Grizzlies hockey, AYSO Soccer, the Glenview Stars, the Henking/Hoffman PTA, the Springman/Attea PTA Council, the GBS Parent Executive Council, and Glenview Community Church.
