Village of South Barrington Police Commission met Nov. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

Chairwoman Shireesha Carse called the meeting to order at 9:20 A.M.

ROLL CALL

Members Present: Chairwoman Shireesha Carse, Commissioner Kenneth Michonski and Commissioner Neal Patel

Staff Present: Police Chief Thomas Roman

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Commissioner Michonski made a motion to approve the minutes of the Police Commission meeting from August 17, 2020. Seconded by Commissioner Patel. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Chairwoman Carse invited members of the public to address the committee. Hearing none, the meeting proceeded with the published agenda items.

OLD BUSINESS

None.

NEW BUSINESS

The Commissioners reviewed the test scores from the written police officer examination given on October 17, 2020. Commissioner Michonski made a motion to establish an interim eligibility list based on those scores. Commissioner Patel seconded. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

The Commissioners then discussed their availability to conduct oral interviews for the candidates on the initial eligibility list. Commissioner Michonski made a motion to schedule the oral interviews on the evenings of Monday, November 9, and Wednesday, November 11, beginning at 7:00 P.M. Commissioner Patel Seconded. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

None.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, Commissioner Michonski made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 A.M. Commissioner Patel seconded. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
