Village of Wheeling Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Sept. 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Moran called to order the Special Meeting of the Wheeling Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 8:01 a.m.

Present: Chairman Michael Moran, Commissioner Alan Palicki, Commissioner Jon Kolssak, and Commissioner Michael Murphy

Police Chief James Dunne, Deputy Police Chief Joseph Licari, and Police Commander Michael Conway were also present.

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

a) Special Meeting of December 12, 2019

Motion by Commissioner Kolssak, second by Commissioner Murphy to approve Minutes with noted correction. The motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.

b) Regular Meeting of January 15, 2020

Motion by Commissioner Kolssak, second by Commissioner Palicki to approve Minutes as presented. The motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.

3. CITIZEN CONCERNS & COMMENTS - None

4. NEW BUSINESS

Certification of Police Officer Eligibility List (with corrected dates) effective September 11, 2020, to and including September 10, 2022.

Motion by Commissioner Palicki, second by Commissioner Kolssak to approve the eligibility list as presented.

Final Resolution: Motion approved

Ayes: 4 - Commissioner Kolssak, Commissioner Murphy, Commissioner Palicki, and Chairman Moran

Nays: 0

5. EXECUTIVE SESSION - None

6. ACTIONS ON MATTERS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION – N/A

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS

Commissioner Palicki thanked the Police Department for their help with a situation at the Airport.

7. ADJOURNMENT

Motion to adjourn by Commissioner Palicki, second by Commissioner Murphy. Motion carried by voice vote, all Ayes, the meeting adjourned at 8:06 a.m.
