Glenview Community Consolidated School District 34 issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
While we aren't going to have a snow day, weather may cause us to close our buildings and have a fully remote learning day. Here are the guidelines for weather-related schedule changes.
On another weather note, we will continue to circulate 50% outside air into our buildings, even as the outside temperature drops. Therefore, we encourage staff and students to dress in layers and bring hats and mittens/gloves in the event that classrooms are cooler than usual.
We will be operating our HVAC systems 24 hours a day and our buildings and grounds staff will constantly monitor the situation.
