Glencoe Park District issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
The Glencoe Park District has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Great Mud Run, planned for Saturday, September 12.
After evaluating the feasibility of large gatherings this fall, it was determined that the health and safety of our runners, volunteers, staff, partners, and spectators could not be guaranteed.
While we are unbelievably disappointed to cancel this much-loved Glencoe tradition, we hope you will mark your calendars for the 2021 Mud Run!
