Cost of college went down for all students at Hebrew Theological College

Tuition and fees fell 26.7 percent for 2018-19 at Hebrew Theological College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $12,920 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $4,710 less than the $17,630 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 77 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 10 students received grants or scholarships totaling $70,765 and 4 students took out student loans totaling more than $19,569.

Including all undergraduates (167), 82 students used grants or scholarships totaling $597,624, and 20 students took out $213,596 in federal student loans.
