Analysis: Glenview pays $3.28 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Glenview Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.9 percent of the $3,211,306 the Glenview Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.28 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Glenview contributed $2,470,705 to the fund, which saw a $15,280 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $751,474, or 23.4 percent, in 2018.
