Analysis: Norridge pays $3.26 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Norridge Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.6 percent of the $1,512,267 the Norridge Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.26 for every $1 from pension members, according to a North Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Norridge contributed $1,157,860 to the fund, which saw a $35,475 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $354,407, or 23.4 percent, in 2018.
