The average school administrator earns 38% more than teachers in Township High School District 214

The average school administrator's salary in the Township High School District 214 was $148,060 during the 2019 school year, while teaching salaries averaged $106,960, according to data from the Illinois Report Card.

The average salary for an Illinois school administrator has risen by eight percent in the previous five years compared with seven percent in teacher pay.

The district with the highest compensation among administrators was the South Wilmington Community Consolidated School District 74 with an average compensation of $203,952, while the district's average teacher pay was $39,555.
