City of Prospect Heights issued the following announcement on May 8.
With the extension of the statewide Stay at Home Order through the month of May by Governor Pritzker, face coverings are now required for anyone over the age of two when indoors at public places and anywhere it is not possible to maintain a safe social distance of six feet from others. This means that face coverings will be required when you are out at grocery stores or other local establishments. You do not need to buy a face mask - face coverings can be made from materials in your home. Instructions on how to make your own face covering can be found on the CDC Website for Face Masks. The City of Prospect Heights wishes all our residents to be safe and be healthy.
