City of Prospect Heights issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.
The real holiday tree collection program will continue through Friday, January 17th.
Trees must be free of decorations, and not placed in a plastic bag. Please place trees at the curb alongside waste receptacles on the evening before or the morning of pickup day. Please be sure that no part of the tree is placed directly onto any City street or blocking any sidewalks.
