Glenview home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Glenview fell by $35,250 while total sales decreased by 11.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 370 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,750 - a 8.2% decrease over the $429,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 419 homes sold in Glenview in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Glenview for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $8,227, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
