South Barrington home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in South Barrington rose by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 3.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $700,000 - a 7.7% increase over the $650,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in South Barrington in the first half of 2018.
