Glencoe home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Glencoe fell by $55,500 while total sales decreased by 15.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $775,000 - a 6.7% decrease over the $830,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 84 homes sold in Glencoe in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Glencoe for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $19,677, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
