The data shows that the three released offenders living in the Barrington zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 43. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2018, and the oldest was a 65-year-old man convicted of a crime against justice in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Alvin Santiago. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2014, when he was 31 years old. He is now 36.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
