The City’s Age-Friendly Business Initiative aims to recognize local businesses making an extra effort to accommodate customers of all ages and abilities, including older adults. Age-Friendly Business criteria include staff communication, physical environment, safety and accessibility.
The 20 businesses currently participating in the survey are in the final stage of being recognized as Age-Friendly Businesses, but are seeking customer feedback to complete the process. Additional businesses are welcome to apply for Age-Friendly consideration during the month of July.
