Q4 2018 Recap: Parolees in Des Plaines convicted of crimes against persons

There were four offenders convicted of crimes against persons released on parole in Des Plaines during the fourth quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the North Cook News.

The data shows that four men were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against persons was 45. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced in 2016, and the oldest was a 67-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Donald Hudgens. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2015 when he was 43 years old. He is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in Q4 2018 who were convicted of crimes against persons.
