There was one offender released on parole during the third quarter living near Illinois zip code 60026, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Cook News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 35-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving alcohol in 2017 when he was 34 years old.
