City of Prospect Heights issued the following announcement on June 12.
On July 1st, the City of Prospect Heights will switch solid waste collection to Flood Brothers. Residents will enjoy the same unlimited garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection at greatly reduced monthly rates. Important points regarding the transition between vendors are below:
- Flood Brothers will drop off their new carts between June 17th and June 28th
- Continue to use the Republic carts through their last collection day of June 28th
- On June 28th, leave the emptied Republic carts at the curb for removal
- Republic will remove their carts on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th
