CITY OF PROSPECT HEIGHTS: Prospect Heights Community Day on June 1

City of Prospect Heights issued the following announcement on May 28.

Stop by the City of Prospect Heights Community Day on Saturday, June 1st for some family fun while learning about all the amazing community groups here in Prospect Heights. 

The event is FREE and attendees are welcome to partake in the Prospect Heights Lions Club pancake breakfast for a nominal fee per person (children 3 and under eat free). 

There will be tours of the police and fire stations and fun activities for children, all free of charge! 

The event runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the main fire and police stations located at Camp McDonald and Elmhurst Roads. There will be many activities for everyone! 

The firefighters and police officers will be on hand to answer questions and the park districts, public works, libraries, and other local organizations will have many different children games and inflatable fun activities. 

Parking will be available on Maple Avenue, next to the police department, and in the municipal lot across Camp McDonald Road.
