Evanston Township High School District 202 issued the following announcement on May 2.
On April 25, 2019, Evanston Township High School (ETHS) senior Zack Andalman tied for fifth place in physics at the Academic Challenge state final. Andalman competed in the chemistry and physics categories.
The ETHS senior qualified for the state competition based on his score in chemistry at the sectional tournament in March 2019.
The Academic Challenge is a test-based competition for high school students on subjects such as biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics and physics.
