Mount Prospect home prices fall in January 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Mount Prospect fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 8.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 3.7% decrease over the $270,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in Mount Prospect in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Prospect for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,770, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for January 2019.
