Niles home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Niles rose by $37,500 while total sales increased by 43.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,500 - a 18.8% increase over the $200,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Niles in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Niles for 2017 was $5,118. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,185. This marks an decrease of 1.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
