Wheeling village trustee candidate Joe Vito returns $1,500.45 contribution from Joe Vito

The campaign committee of Wheeling village trustee candidate Joe Vito, Citizens for Joe Vito, returned a $1,500.45 contribution from Joe Vito on April 4, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor or because contribution limits have been reached. Vito has not made any other contributions to Joe Vito in the past 12 months.
