Wheeling (Cook County) home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Wheeling in Cook County rose by $6,250 while total sales decreased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 131 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,000 - a 3.4% increase over the $181,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 166 homes sold in Wheeling in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wheeling for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,333, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
