Prospect Heights home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Prospect Heights fell by $48,250 while total sales increased by 8.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 66 homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,750 - a 17.5% decrease over the $275,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 61 homes sold in Prospect Heights in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Prospect Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,076.60, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
