Hoffman Estates (Cook County) home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Hoffman Estates in Cook County rose by $2,000 while total sales decreased by 1.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 246 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 0.8% increase over the $258,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 249 homes sold in Hoffman Estates in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hoffman Estates for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,077.30, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
