Inverness home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Inverness rose by $56,500 while total sales decreased by 52.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $545,000 - a 11.6% increase over the $488,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Inverness in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Inverness for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $13,665.20, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
