president candidate Sunil Shah returns $700 contribution from VERANDAH RETIREMENT COMMUNITY LLC

The campaign committee of president candidate Sunil Shah, Shah for Schaumburg, returned a $700 contribution from VERANDAH RETIREMENT COMMUNITY LLC on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. VERANDAH RETIREMENT COMMUNITY LLC has not made any other contributions to Sunil Shah in the past 12 months.
