state senator candidate Tom Rooney returns $200 contribution from Michael LoRusso

The campaign committee of state senator candidate Tom Rooney, Rooney for Illinois, returned a $200 contribution from Michael LoRusso on Oct. 13, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. LoRusso has not made any other contributions to Tom Rooney in the past 12 months.
