CITY OF EVANSTON: Women's History Month Bruncheon March 24

City of Evanston issued the following announcement on March 12.

Community members are invited to join former U.S. Senator and Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun and Evanston author and professor Cheryl Y. Judice, Ph.D., for Women’s History Month Bruncheon Conversations on Sunday, March 24, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.

Ambassador Moseley Braun, who served as the first female African American U.S. Senator and as Ambassador to New Zealand and Somoa, will discuss her inspiring life story with Northwestern Professor Cheryl Y. Judice, practicum instructor in Human Development and Psychological Services within the School of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University.

The event, presented by Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre (FJT), will also feature live music from powerhouse singer Qiana McNary, who recently starred in FJT's "All Hail The Queen" Aretha Franklin tribute concert, and an incredible brunch buffet featuring champagne mimosas and coffee prepared by Chef Q.
