How did Malcolm Chester spend campaign funds in the first quarter?

Independent Malcolm Chester's election campaign committee, Citizens for Malcolm Chester, spent $34,506 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Chester's committee spent the most on brochures in the quarter, with 71.6% of this total ($17,661) going to Critical Strategies in Oak Park. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Chester's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
