Republican R Cary Capparelli's election campaign committee, Capparelli for MWRDGC, spent $7,004 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Capparelli's committee spent the most on newspaper advertising in the quarter, with 87.4% of this total ($2,779) going to Soar Advertising in Kirkwood. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Capparelli's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
