The Republican Women of Park Ridge are set to hold a nonpartisan forum for local candidates in Park Ridge tomorrow.
The gathering will begin at 7 p.m. in the O’Connor Building, 733 N. Prospect Ave. in Park Ridge, and all the candidates whose names appear on the April 2 ballot are eligible to participate.
“Republican Women of Park Ridge has been hosting this premier public information forum for as long as anyone can remember,” Char Foss-Eggemann, the club’s campaign activities chairman, who is also GOP committeeman for Maine Township, said a press release.

“Candidates can come meet the public, air their issues and plans and answer questions,” she added. “It’s a great public service, and we hope it will improve turnout for these key elections.”
According to the release, many of the candidates already have committed to taking part in the event, which will feature candidates vying for the posts on City Council, the park board and all three local school boards.
“We hope many voters will take advantage of this opportunity to meet and question the candidates who are seeking their votes on April 2nd,” Foss-Eggeman added.
