Report: Glenview spent $13,501 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Glenview Community Consolidated School District 34 is up 5.9 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,747 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,501 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 4923 to 4838.

Glenview's spending in 2017-18 was 1.2 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
