Report: Northbrook spent $20,216 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Northbrook Elementary School District 27 is up 0.6 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $20,095 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $20,216 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1202 to 1263.

Northbrook's spending in 2017-18 was 51.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
