Report: Township High School District 214 spent $19,921 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Township High School District 214 is up 3.2 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $19,301 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $19,921 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 11989 to 12029.

Township High School District 214's spending in 2017-18 was 49.4 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
