State Senate race: Democrat Morrison wins voter tally in Palatine Township

Julie A. Morrison led Republican Barrett Davie in votes cast in Palatine Township for the District 29 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Morrison appeared to outpace Davie by a margin of 40.3 percent on Tuesday in the township.
