State Senate race: Democrat Gillespie wins voter tally in Palatine Township Precinct 57

Ann Gillespie led Republican Tom Rooney in votes cast in Palatine Township Precinct 57 for the District 27 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Gillespie appeared to outpace Rooney by a margin of 15.5 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
