State Senate race: Democrat Morrison wins voter tally in New Trier Township Precinct 1

Julie A. Morrison led Republican Barrett Davie in votes cast in New Trier Township Precinct 1 for the District 29 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Morrison appeared to outpace Davie by a margin of 34.7 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
